| Jesus Said “By These Signs You Will Know When I am Coming” |
In Matthew Chapter 24, Jesus’ disciples came to him in private. “Tell us,” they said… what will be
the sign of your coming?”
They asked Jesus a straight forward question to which he gave them a straight forward answer in
the form of many signs by which they could know when he will return.
Sign #1. “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am
the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
Jesus said that many false religions and religious leaders would come after him claiming that they
were the real deal. This has already happened.
Sign #2. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such
things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom.
This too has already happened, look at all the wars there have been over the past few years and
more are coming.
Sign #3. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of
birth pains.
This too has happened. In fact there has been a huge increase in earthquakes in the past few
years.
Sign #4. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated
by all nations because of me.
Christians are being persecuted all over the world, right now in Egypt, and even in the USA
especially the army.
Sign #5. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders
to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
This has not yet happened to the degree that it will later.
Sign #6. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the
sea.
This could be tsunami’s, or tidal waves, or HAARP manipulation of the weather.
Sign #7. There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. People will faint from terror,
apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
This is still to come.
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out,
you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near,
right at the door.”
As you can see, MANY of the signs have been fulfilled. We are now living in the end times and
Jesus’ soon return.
“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties
of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on
the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all
that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
