The Greatest Story Ever Told About
The Greatest Man That Ever Lived
Acts 3:5-7  So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.  Then Peter
said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
walk.”  Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles
became strong.

Acts 3: 9-10  When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same
man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and
amazement at what had happened to  him.

Acts 4:12  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men
by which we must be saved.

Acts 16:17-18  This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the
Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” She kept this up for many days. Finally
Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I
command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

Philipians 2:9-11  Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is
above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and
under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Colossians 3:17  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Matthew 18:20  For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.

Mark 9:38-39  Teacher,” said John, “we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told
him to stop, because he was not one of us.” “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “No one who does a
miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me.

Mark 16:17-18  And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out
demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they
drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they
will get well.

Luke 21:8  He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name,
claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

John 14:13-14  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the
Father.  You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

John 15:16  You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that
will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

John 16:22-24  Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will
take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father
will give you whatever you ask in my name.  Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.
Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Matthew 7:21-27  Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but
only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord,
Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many
miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’  “Therefore
everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his
house on the rock.  The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that
house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.  But everyone who hears these
words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell
with a great crash.”
