Warnings for Disobedience
Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made
salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that
leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads
to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day,
‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your
name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you
evildoers!’
Romans 2:5-6 ...because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up
wrath against yourself for the day of God’ s wrath , when his righteous judgment will be revealed.
God “will repay each person according to what they have done.
Romans 14:11-12 It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’ So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 .. do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not
be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with
men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom
of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery,
idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this
will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person, such a person is
an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Revelation 21:7-8 ...the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral,
those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars their place will be in the fiery lake of
burning sulfur.
Hebrews 6:4-6 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the
heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God
and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To
their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
